PORTRAITURE FOR FAMILIES, MOTHERS, BABIES, CHILDREN, AND DOGS
A studio for every portrait worth making
A family portrait business, since 1946
My grandad Roy started this business in the RAF, the first year after the war. My mum Alison ran the studio through my childhood. I’ve been photographing families, mothers, children, and dogs across the Wirral since 2003. My son Josh is the fourth generation, learning beside me now. The work has always been the same in principle. A portrait should hold the person it’s of, finished properly, made to last.

Common Questions
FAQ
How long is a portrait session?
Most studio sessions are around 60 minutes to 2 hours, paced around you and whoever is in front of the camera. Newborn sessions are gentler and may run shorter if your baby needs them to. Dog sessions adapt to your dog's temperament on the day.
How does pricing work?
My pricing has two parts: wall art and collections. Wall art starts from £695 (20" piece) and is the centrepiece of what I make. Collections start from £795 and bring together fine art prints, digital files, and a beautiful folio box. Most clients combine the two, often with a wall art credit applied at viewing. Full details on the Products page.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Interest-free monthly payment plans are available over up to ten months. Twenty-five per cent deposit at the viewing, balance in equal payments. Available on Collections and Wall Art.
Where is the studio?
The studio is in the heart of the Wirral, with easy parking and a private, calm space. Full address sent on booking.
How do I book?
Send me a message and I'll be in touch to talk about your session and find a date.
Can I bring my dog to a family session?
Of course. Dogs are very welcome at family sessions and many of my favourite portraits have a dog in them.
