Before your session, everything is sorted.
We start with a conversation about your family and what you'd like from your session. I send you a styling guide with clothing examples that photograph beautifully together. No matching outfits, nothing stiff. By the time your session arrives, you've stopped worrying about what to wear or what your children will do. All of that is sorted. You can turn up and just be with your family.
The session itself is unhurried.
No rushing, no awkward posing, no shouting at children to smile. Babies are fed when they need feeding. Toddlers are allowed to be toddlers. Dogs are welcome. We work at the pace your family actually moves at, which is where the best portraits live. Most clients tell me afterwards that they enjoyed it far more than they expected to.
Together we design what comes home with you.
About a week after your session, you return for your private viewing appointment. We sit together at a large screen and look through your portraits, and I help you choose what to bring into your home. Wall art for the room you spend the most time in. A folio box to look through with your children. A small gift print for grandparents. You're not choosing alone on a phone screen at midnight. You're designing with someone who has been doing this for twenty-three years.

Family Studio Session Fee
I'm welcoming families into the studio for fine art portrait sessions at my Wirral studio.
Each session is relaxed and fully guided, with a private viewing appointment a week or two afterwards where we'll look through your images together and choose what to order.
A £150 session fee secures your date. I do have special offers for clients who participate in one of my artist projects, where clients grant permission for me to share their images in our displays and social media galleries and are selected via an application process.
